Elizabeth Lockett

Elizabeth Lockett, a seasoned attorney with over 16 years of experience, is the owner and founder of the Law Office of Elizabeth Lockett, PLLC. Elizabeth attended Briargate Elementary School and Christa McAuliffe Middle School in FBISD, and she graduated from Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Rice University, and The University of Texas School of Law.  Licensed in Texas and the U.S. District & Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of Texas, Elizabeth represents clients in various legal matters, including probate and guardianship litigation, estate planning, residential real estate litigation and drafting, consumer disputes, and personal injury minor settlement hearings.
Elizabeth is a former Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow who worked at Lone Star Legal Aid for nearly nine years, working to protect the rights of underserved Texans while recruiting, mentoring, and training a new generation of attorneys to continue the good work.  Most recently, Elizabeth served for five and a half years as Tax Master for the Harris County Civil District Courts, implementing courtroom policies to ensure fair treatment for all litigants, especially those representing themselves.
